There are many online courses, and the right one is the one that matches your level and your goal. These questions are general and apply to any course, including ours.
What is my level? Be honest about where you are now. A beginner course gives you a firm base; a course that is too advanced will only be frustrating. The course cards on this website show the level of each course, and if you are unsure you can ask us.
What do I want to be able to do at the end? Write it as a concrete sentence, for example: hold a simple conversation in English, or build a spreadsheet for my work. Then check that the course outline covers it.
What is in the course? Look at the number of lessons and the number of hours, and ask for the list of topics. A clear outline tells you what you will learn and in which order.
How will I practise? Learning a skill needs practice. Ask whether the course includes exercises or tasks, and plan time to repeat them yourself.
What time can I give? Be realistic: a short course that you finish is better than a long one you abandon. Because the lessons are online, you can fit them around your own schedule.
What will I need? Usually a computer, tablet or phone, a stable internet connection and, for English practice, a pair of headphones.
What else should I ask before I pay? Ask about the price, the payment methods and anything the course includes, such as certificates, and get the answer in writing. These details are set by the training centre and we confirm them with you when you register.
